- The lead of a low card by partner is hopefully from
- a long suit. Dummy doesn't have much and if I can
- believe in the rule of eleven*, declarer doesn't have
- much either.

- When partner leads 4th down, subtract the value of
- partner's card from eleven. The difference is the
- number of cards higher than partner's in the other
- three hands. By counting dummy's cards higher and
- mine, I can arrive at the number of cards higher
- in declarer's hand.
